Still Blooming!

All the flowers are still in bloom over here at My Pumpkin Challenge! Every day the weather is just a tiny bit softer, the birds get up just a tiny bit earlier, and the pool gets a tiny bit warmer, lol.

From Our Blooms to Yours

I know that flowers in March might not be the norm everywhere, but here in Arizona, we've hit the big-time with the blooms! I even have peppers and tomatoes already, and my eggplant are running riot! Maybe a little too riot, actually, it's also allergy season here, lol. Do any flowers bloom by you this time of year?

The Language of Flowers

You know, when I was younger, I was totally fascinated by the romantic "language of flowers" I read about in English class. From Shakespeare to Oscar Wilde, seemed like everyone had a secret floral code that we don't use anymore, lol. Don't you think we should go back to that? I guess it's pretty big talk for someone who lives in the Sonoran Desert, but hey - we have our own flowers here, too!
